Acabar de I/II
Using acabar de
In English, if you did something very recently, you say, "I just ___." In Spanish, there is a special verb construction that means the same thing. Can you guess what it is? Acabar + de + infinitive. All you have to do is conjugate acabar in the present (bonus: it is a regular verb, unlike ir and the phrasal future). Then you add de and the infinitive of your choice.
Examples:
Yo acabo de comer. (I just ate.)
Ella acaba de leer ese libro. (She just read that book.)
Tú acabas de escribir una carta. (You just wrote a letter.)
